How high is high?
The answer is the rail itself, not a paragraph.
The altitude profiles will draw here once the operator sheets arrive. The Cusco baseline — at 3399 m, dashed in verdigris — is the reference every tour is measured against. The highest single peak on this site is the Rainbow Mountain summit, in the band of the red iron-oxide stripe.
On the day
What to bring, what we send.
You bring
- · A real warm layer. The pre-dawn pickup at 3,400 m is not a suggestion.
- · Walking shoes with a sole. Trainers are not enough on the rocky stretches.
- · Sun protection. The UV at altitude is honest.
- · A bottle of water. We will refill it.
- · Whatever your doctor told you to bring. We will not argue with altitude medication.
We send, the day before
- · Pickup time, to the minute.
- · Pickup point, with the address.
- · Operator name and a Cusco phone number.
- · The full kit list, against the actual weather.
- · Our WhatsApp, open all day.
Payment & cancellation
Both policies, side by side, in plain English.
Site-wide default
Refunds work in three tiers. Full refund (100%): from the moment you book until the end of the day of your video-call briefing with your assistant — or, if that call hasn't happened yet, until 48 hours after your assistant's first contact attempt. Partial refund (50%): after that, until 2 days before your tour date. No refund (0%): within 2 days of your tour date. Cancelling and being refunded are not the same thing — you can always tell us you're not coming; these tiers only decide how much comes back. The two Machu Picchu tours follow a separate policy.

Machu Picchu override
Refundable within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours the booking is non-refundable, at any time and for any reason. Entrance tickets and train or bus seats are date-locked, non-transferable, and purchased up front.
English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Before you book, our WhatsApp assistant answers questions and can schedule a video call with the Cusco team. After you book, one dedicated assistant is yours until you fly home.
